Trade Fairs

The "interlift" - World's Leading Trade Fair for the Elevator Industry and the "iENA - International Trade Fair Ideas-Inventions-New Products" are the world's leading industry trade fairs and with the HOGA Nuremberg we occupy a top position in the German trade fair hospitality market. Other trade & congress fairs are the DCONex (MCC Münster) congress fair on the subject of pollutant management and "The Elevator Show" in Dubai, (premiere: September 16-18, 2024).

A new addition to AFAG's B2B trade fair portfolio is eltec - Trade Fair for Electrical and Energy Technology (Messe Nürnberg), which AFAG successfully organised for the first time in 2023. The next eltec will take place from 25-22 May 2025.
The industry platform with congress, Stone+tec (Messe Nürnberg, 19-22 June 2024), was successfully taken over by AFAG in 2022 and was given a new area in 2024: the design trade fair for tiles and technology, the Tile+tec trade fair (parallel to Stone+tec on 19-22 June 2024, Messe Nürnberg)

As of July 1, 2022, AFAG has taken over the Munich-based trade fair organizer NETCOMM and will continue to run the NETCOMM trade fairs, which include the Munich SecurityExpo "SicherheitsExpo München", the Munich Human Resources Fair "Personalmesse München" and the Sales Marketing Fair "Sales Marketing Forum München". All three trade fairs will be held at MOC München.

The Freizeit Messe and Consumenta, which is one of Germany's leading consumer fairs, are both held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.

Our programme also includes special interest fairs, e.g. the “Fascination Horse” which presents classical equestrian events and attracts elite equestrian sportspeople with its top-class tournaments. The Nuremberg Pet Fair presents offers, information and shows all about animal friends such as dogs and cats.

The Nuremberg Whisk(e)y fair THE VILLAGE has developed into one of the largest and most important whisk(e)y trade fairs in Europe since its founding in 2013. It’s a popular place for industry insiders to gather every year and an event both for whisk(e)y connoisseurs and those just discovering the spirit. The Gin & Friends trade fair in Nuremberg is a lifestyle event that brings the different variations of gin + tonic and other spirits to life.

2023 has presented for the first time the Musik Messe Nürnberg in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg, which will be held annually from 2024 under a new name: akustika Nuremberg. The fair focused on the diversity and quality of musical instrument making and is aimed at musicians, from beginners to professionals.

Since the end of February 2023, AFAG has taken over the Stuttgart trade fair organizer RETRO Messen. The portfolio of  RETRO Messen GmbH includes the trade fairs RETRO CLASSICS® Stuttgart, RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® in Nuremberg and EuroMotor® in Stuttgart, which will continue to be held at the familiar locations.

motrivation days Nuremberg accompanies the leisure trade fair and is the event for triathletes and endurance sports fans. Car & Style Nuremberg, affiliated to Consumenta, appeals to tuning and sound fans as well as all technology enthusiasts.
