GrindTec 2020: Vast Majority of Exhibitors welcome Alternative Date in November

Augsburg – The postponement of GrindTec was handled professionally. Only three days after the postponement, which was decided jointly with the supporting association FDPW and the trade fair advisory board, the organiser AFAG was already able to announce the new date: Instead of 18th - 21st March, the most important platform for grinding technology will now take place from 10th - 13th November this year.

The postponement is unanimously considered by all parties involved to be the best possible solution – among other things, the new date takes into account the two important industry events BIMU in Milan and Jimtof in Tokyo. The fact that it takes place in the same calendar year was also a key criterion. The large majority of the GrindTec exhibitors are also behind the new date: well over 90 percent had already expressed their approval in a telephone survey. Interestingly, several new companies also expressed their interest in participating. We see this as a clear indication of the great importance of GrindTec for the sector.

AFAG: Absolute Support for Exhibitors

For GrindTec-organizer AFAG, exhibitors are partners, an das such, they are supported in any way possible. Maybe this attitude has also made a considerable contribution to the success of GrindTec so far. All the more reason for the participating companies to build on this commitment in times like these.
